Our CEO, Capt. Harminder Singh, attended the 28th Annual SSA (Singapore Shipping Association) General Meeting & Cocktail Reception held at ParkRoyal Beach Road in Singapore on June 28, 2024. During the AGM, members discussed key topics related to shipping, sustainability, and industry challenges.

BLU Maritime Consultancy conducted the BMC 5 days Galley Management Skills and enhancement Course from 22nd – 26th April 2024.  This course is specifically designed for Chief Cooks to enhance their expertise and preparedness before deployment.

Gastech has been a major event and was hosted in Singapore this year with participation from all major Oil & Gas organisations and many service providers. The diversity within the industry was vast & visible in this event. With a huge focus towards ESG & decarbonization and the industry investing in new innovations, the changes to come are endless.

BMC attended the TradeWinds Shipowners Forum, held at MBS Convention Center in Singapore. Such a well coordinated & informative conference. 

With climate change becoming an ever pressing concern, the push for greener practices has reached the maritime industry. And now, we constantly see the scorching topic of ‘decarbonisation’ that has been dominating for the last few years. This transition will surely take its own course, but at least we have reached a starting point. Am looking forward to see what comes next!
